New York, December 18 (Hibya) – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres described the arbitrary detention of UN staff and civil society representatives in Yemen as a “deep injustice.”
Guterres said that 59 UN employees, partner staff, civil society organization representatives and individuals working in diplomatic missions are being arbitrarily detained in Yemen, calling this “a deep injustice toward everyone who has dedicated their lives to helping the people of Yemen.”
