Washington, March 13 (Hibya) - It has been confirmed that four of the six crew members died when a KC-135 refueling aircraft belonging to the United States (US) Air Force crashed in western Iraq.
A KC-135 refueling aircraft belonging to the US Air Force crashed in western Iraq on the afternoon of March 12. It was confirmed that four of the six crew members on board were killed; rescue operations are ongoing.
The causes of the incident are still under investigation and it has been reported that the crash was not the result of enemy fire or friendly fire. The identities of the crew members will be announced after their families are notified within 24 hours.
