Weel spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan
Amsterdam, 26 November (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel held a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
Foreign Minister Weel told Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan that they welcome Türkiye’s efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
Emphasizing that any outcome of the peace process must respect Ukraine’s sovereignty, Weel added: “We also discussed developments in Gaza and shared our concerns regarding the situation in Sudan.”
