Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, stating that they are coordinating with European leaders.

Expressing satisfaction with the support provided to Ukraine, Zelensky stressed that assistance—especially in air defense—is of critical importance.

Zelensky said that Russia continues its attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians, noting that Moscow has even rejected ceasefire proposals for the Christmas period and has intensified missile and drone attacks.

Zelensky drew attention to the necessity of ensuring sufficient support for Ukraine and maintaining effective pressure on Russia.

He also noted that Canada has announced a new aid package, emphasizing the importance of having common positions on many key issues.
