Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with representatives of the U.S. President in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.

Zelensky stated that during a stopover at Chisinau Airport, he met with U.S. presidential representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner and described the meeting as positive.

Noting that diplomacy should be revitalized in the coming weeks and that the parties are ready for active work, Zelensky said: “I am grateful that they are ready to work to accelerate diplomacy aimed at ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.”

The Ukrainian leader also said: “I thank them for their expressions of respect for Ukrainians and their positive assessments of Ukraine’s positions.”
