Zelensky said he shared Ukraine’s perspective with Macron on the discussion held yesterday with U.S. President Donald Trump and European counterparts.

He noted that Macron provided information about his contacts with other leaders that had already occurred or were planned: “We are coordinating our positions, and we see the need for a common European position on core security issues.”

Zelensky emphasized that both sides agreed that work at the adviser and leadership levels must produce results:

“Ukraine is ready for this, but there has been no clear public response from Russia so far. If Russia continues to prolong the war and hinder constructive efforts, we will soon see the consequences.”
