Following his meeting with the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, President Zelensky shared strategies aimed at limiting Russia’s economic and military potential.

Noting that economic pressure on Russia will be intensified, Zelensky said: “First of all, in his capacity as Head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh provided information on the overall situation in our state and the current threats. We will continue to reduce Russia’s economic potential; the less the aggressor earns, the more opportunities there are for diplomacy. This particularly concerns Russian oil exports — exports will be further restricted and prices will be lowered.”

Referring to determination regarding sanctions and military production, Zelensky added: “We are acting in the same way with regard to Russia’s military production; the more we sever the aggressor’s ties with the world and eliminate sanctions-evasion schemes, the greater the potential of efforts to end the war.”
