At the meeting, held in New York within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, the parties discussed enhancing cooperation between the State of Qatar and the SCO, particularly in the fields of humanitarian aid and development.

Minister Al Misnad emphasized Qatar’s willingness to establish effective partnerships with regional organizations in order to promote security, stability, and sustainable development.

The SCO Secretary-General praised Qatar’s growing role on the international stage, its humanitarian contributions, and its initiatives in support of development and multilateral cooperation.

The parties agreed to continue consultation and coordination to serve common interests and strengthen bilateral relations.
