Spain sends military ship to assist the "Global Sumud" flotilla
New York, September 24 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced that a naval operations ship will depart from Cartagena to assist the "Global Sumud" flotilla and carry out a rescue operation.
Prime Minister Sanchez stated that the Spanish government demands compliance with international law and respect for the right of its citizens to travel safely in the Mediterranean.
Sanchez announced that tomorrow a naval operations ship, equipped with all necessary resources, will depart from Cartagena to assist the "Global Sumud" flotilla and carry out a rescue operation.
