Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Dar meets UK counterpart Cooper
New York, September 24 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, met with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session.
The leaders discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the longstanding Pakistan-UK partnership, trade and investment, as well as cooperation on multilateral platforms.
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments.
Dar emphasized the importance of further deepening the multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and the UK, highlighting the key role of the Pakistani diaspora in strengthening people-to-people ties.
