Armed attack on military base in the US
Washington, August 6 (Hibya) – An armed attack took place at Fort Stewart Military Base in the state of Georgia, United States.
According to CNN, after the Fort Stewart police spokesperson confirmed there was an "active shooter," a lockdown was declared in the area. Reports also indicate there were casualties.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump had been briefed on the armed attack at Fort Stewart military base in Georgia. In a post on X, she said, "The White House is monitoring the situation."
