U.S. Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack congratulated Türkiye on its victory.

Barrack said, “I congratulate Türkiye on its magnificent victory.”

Noting that the match was played at a high tempo and was fiercely contested, Barrack said, “It was an incredible and classic match in the United States; from start to finish it was filled with passion, skill and drama, a true thriller decided in the final seconds.”

Highlighting Türkiye’s performance, Barrack stated, “Türkiye showed tremendous heart by earning a well-deserved 3-2 victory that will be remembered for a long time. We also extend our highest praise to the United States team for their tremendous effort throughout the match and the tournament.”
