Lavrov: China-Russia relations strengthen the multipolar world order
Moscow, May 21 (Hibya) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that relations with China are being strengthened through economic cooperation and people-to-people interaction, contributing to a multipolar world order.
According to CCTV, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized the importance of economic cooperation and people-to-people relations between Russia and China for global stability.
Minister Lavrov stated that the strategic partnership between the two countries contributes to the formation of a more balanced and multipolar world order.
It was noted that relations reached an “unprecedented level” during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s two-day state visit to China.
As part of the visit, the two countries issued a joint statement on the multipolar world order and a new understanding of international relations, while signing 20 cooperation agreements in various fields.
Lavrov emphasized that trade between China and Russia has long exceeded 200 billion dollars and that people-to-people interaction is one of the fundamental elements of bilateral relations.
