Macron: Europeans are determined to cut the funding sources of Russia’s war of aggression
Paris, March 1 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Europe is determined to cut off the financing of Russia’s war.
President Macron announced that a heavy blow had been dealt to the “shadow fleet” and that an operation was carried out in the North Sea.
Macron noted that during the operation, a sanctioned oil tanker was stopped and that helicopters belonging to the French Navy contributed at night to the operation conducted by Belgian forces.
Macron said, “Europeans are determined to cut the funding sources of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine by ensuring the enforcement of sanctions.”
