The statement said that, with the approval of Netanyahu and in line with the instruction of the Acting Director of the National Security Council, the Deputy Director of the NSC responsible for foreign policy, Dr. Yosef Dreznin, attended the meeting.
“The meeting constitutes a continuation of the security dialogue aimed at ensuring the disarmament of Hezbollah by the Lebanese army. During the talks, discussions focused on how economic projects could be advanced in order to emphasize the shared interest in eliminating the Hezbollah threat and ensuring sustainable security for residents on both sides of the border,” the statement said.
