Hamburg, January 26 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that energy is a critical element for the country’s freedom, security, and economic competitiveness.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke about the impact of energy policy on national security and the economy.
Emphasizing that energy is a fundamental issue, Merz said, “Energy is a key issue for our freedom, our security, and the competitiveness of our economy. There are significant opportunities in the North Sea that we can make much better use of from an energy policy perspective.”
Stressing their determination, Merz concluded his statement by saying, “In Hamburg, we are determined to make this happen.”
