Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that during his meeting with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, he provided detailed information on the consequences of Russia’s large-scale attacks on Ukraine’s energy system.

Sybiha noted that they focused on ways to provide Ukraine with additional energy equipment and to strengthen air defense capabilities, adding:

“I emphasized the need to increase pressure through sanctions in order to restrict the financial resources that enable Russia to continue its aggressive war. We attached special importance to the negotiation process to achieve a just and lasting peace.”
