Orban: Ukraine’s EU membership will not bring peace
Budapest, February 12 (Hibya) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine’s European Union (EU) membership will not bring peace, but rather war to Europe.
Prime Minister Orban stated that Zelensky’s plan is not a theory but a reality, saying, "President Zelensky is clearly demanding EU membership by 2027 and sees it as a military security guarantee; Ukrainian military leaders, on the other hand, are making severe threats against Hungary."
Orban emphasized that Ukraine’s EU membership will not bring peace, but will bring war to Europe, adding, "This is not up for debate: Hungary will not finance, arm, or legitimize a threat to its own security."
