Sanchez: The situation in Venezuela must be resolved through peaceful dialogue and negotiation
Madrid, January 4 (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez emphasized that the situation in Venezuela should be resolved solely through dialogue and negotiation, while the governments of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, and Mexico also shared their concerns.
Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez stated that the situation in Venezuela must be resolved only through peaceful means, via dialogue and negotiation, and with full respect for the will of the Venezuelan people.
Sanchez said: “It must be resolved in line with the will expressed by the Venezuelan people in all its forms, without external interference and in accordance with international law.”
Sanchez added: “As the Government of Spain, together with the Governments of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, and Mexico, we are expressing our concern regarding the developments in Venezuela through this statement.”
