Doha, July 14 (Hibya) - Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha to convey Switzerland's condolences.

In a statement shared on social media, Cassis said Switzerland extends its heartfelt condolences to Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatari royal family, the government, and the people of Qatar.
Cassis stated that Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani will be remembered for his contributions to Qatar's development and for his support in strengthening the close friendship between Switzerland and Qatar.
