Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that Russia did not stop its brutal bombardment of civilians in Ukraine, even on the holy night of Christmas, adding that one person was killed and two others were injured in the attacks on Odessa.

Sybiha also mentioned that one civilian was killed in the Kharkiv region and another in the Chernihiv region, saying, “There were also injuries in the Zaporizhzhia and Sumy regions.”

Sybiha pointed out that Odessa had suffered the heaviest blows in recent days, saying:

“Russia is deliberately targeting energy infrastructure and civilian facilities in order to leave people without electricity, water, and heating under freezing cold. There are no military targets here; the sole purpose of these attacks is to kill people because they are Ukrainian.”

Sybiha called on the international community to act, to increase pressure on the aggressor, and to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to defend itself and its people.
