Venezuela’s presidential office announced that Delcy Rodriguez is now interim president
Washington, January 5 (Hibya) – Delcy Rodriguez assumed office as interim president late Sunday and released photos of herself hosting the first cabinet meeting.
Delcy Rodriguez also held the first cabinet meeting since the United States captured leader Nicolas Maduro on Saturday.
It was reported that Venezuela’s interim leader Delcy Rodriguez wants a balanced and respectful relationship with Donald Trump.
State broadcaster VTV showed Rodriguez seated at a table in the Miraflores presidential palace alongside two other key figures loyal to Maduro: Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino and Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello.
