Zelensky: Ground forces are the strong shield of our country
Kyiv, December 12 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a statement marking Ground Forces Day, drew attention to the critical role of the ground components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the country’s defense.
Zelensky emphasized that mechanized units, tank and missile forces, artillery units, air defense forces, army aviation and territorial defense brigades are carrying out their duties at the front with great solidarity.
Saluting the sacrifice of all soldiers, Zelensky said: “I am grateful to every warrior of our Ground Forces and to all our defenders for their service, resilience and strength of spirit. At the moment when our country needed it most, they became a reliable shield.”
Zelensky concluded his remarks by saying: “Glory to our heroes. Glory to Ukraine.”
