Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio co-chaired the 7th Qatar–U.S. Strategic Dialogue in Washington.

In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “During the seventh session of the dialogue, ways to develop cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries in the political, economic, trade, investment, and cultural fields were discussed.”

The statement added: “Various issues of mutual interest were also discussed, including regional stability, counterterrorism, combating human trafficking, human rights, climate change, energy efficiency, and humanitarian assistance.”
