Brekelmans said: “In the face of increasingly complex and growing threats, good intelligence and analysis are vital.”
Noting that the intelligence services MIVD and AIVD operate in an uneven competitive environment, Brekelmans said: “Our intelligence services MIVD and AIVD demonstrate outstanding performance in this field, even under unequal competition compared to Russia, China, and Iran. We are deeply grateful to our people.”
