Brussels, January 27 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Council President Antonio Costa, paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, stated that peace is only possible through justice achieved in the face of hardships.

Conveying Gandhi’s words on the foundations of peace, Costa stated: “Peace will not be born from the clash of weapons, but from the justice that unarmed nations live by and uphold in the face of adversity.”
