Lahbib: The last person held hostage in Gaza, Ran Gvili, has returned home
Brussels, January 27 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that Ran Gvili, the last person held hostage in Gaza, has returned to his home in Israel.
Hadja Lahbib made a statement regarding the situation in Gaza and the hostages.
Referring to Ran Gvili’s return, Lahbib said: “Ran Gvili, the last hostage in Gaza, has finally returned home to Israel after a very long time. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, who can now mourn him and lay him to rest with dignity.”
Calling for a ceasefire, Lahbib stated: “It is now time to act for a permanent ceasefire—one that guarantees unhindered humanitarian access and offers a concrete path toward peace.”
