Metsola: Agreement reached on our new pharmaceutical legislation
Brussels, 11 December (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that an agreement has been reached between the European Parliament and the EU Council regarding the new pharmaceutical legislation.
Metsola said that the agreement reached early this morning between the European Parliament and the EU Council on new pharmaceutical regulations is a major step toward making medicines more accessible, available, and affordable for everyone in Europe.
She added that today they are improving people’s lives while preparing Europe for tomorrow’s challenges. “This is an extremely welcome development for patients, industry, and society,” Metsola said.
