Pakistan condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia
Islamabad, September 8 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic sites in the Saudi Arabian cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it condemns in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by Houthi militias against civilian and economic targets in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The statement said the attacks constitute a clear violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, threaten peace and stability in the region, and undermine efforts toward a peaceful and lasting resolution of the conflict in Yemen.
The statement said Pakistan reiterated its support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and prosperity, and expressed full solidarity with the Saudi leadership, government and people.
The statement also conveyed wishes for a swift and full recovery to those injured in the attacks.
