UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer emphasized the importance of young girls feeling safe at school, online and in their social relationships.

In his statement, Prime Minister Starmer said: “I want my daughter to grow up in an England where she feels safe at school, online and in her relationships. Every young girl deserves this, and every young boy should be protected from harmful misogynistic influences.”

Stating that the government is achieving this goal by supporting teachers, condemning misogyny and intervening early, Starmer added: “We can stop the harm before it starts and protect young men from the influence of online misogynists.”
