Ukraine’s Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Umerov, stated that they have launched a new round of consultations with the American side in the United States together with Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov.

Noting that European partners were also included in this format at the invitation of the US side, Umerov thanked the United States for this coordination, which allows the preservation of a shared vision and coordinated progress.

Emphasizing their full commitment to a constructive process, Umerov said:

“We have already conducted preliminary consultations with our European counterparts and are continuing our preparations for the subsequent meetings with the American side. Following the consultations, we will brief Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. We are acting in line with the priorities set by the President: Ukraine’s security must be guaranteed in a reliable and long-term manner.”
