French President Emmanuel Macron, in his remarks during the World Health Assembly, stated that health, climate, and geopolitical crises are increasingly interconnected in today’s world.

Macron said that international cooperation is more necessary than ever in the face of this situation.

Highlighting the importance of collective efforts in recent times, Macron praised the work of the World Health Organization (WHO) in risk assessment and coordinated response processes against diseases such as Hantavirus and Ebola.

In a statement addressed to World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Macron stressed that France would continue its support for the organization.
