United States President Donald Trump claimed in a social media post that irregularities had occurred in the election process in Maryland.

President Trump alleged that “500 thousand illegal mail-in ballots were sent” in the state and claimed that new ballots were also being prepared for distribution.

In his statement, Trump said: “They sent 500 thousand illegal mail-in ballots in Maryland and got caught. Now they are going to send another 500 thousand.” Trump also claimed that nobody knows what happened to the first 500 thousand ballots.

In his remarks, Trump targeted the Wes Moore administration, arguing that the practice was intended to help Democrats win elections. Trump stated: “I now better understand why Maryland has been considered an automatic Democratic state for years.”

Trump also said that he would ask federal authorities to investigate the matter, stating: “I will demand that the U.S. Attorney General and the Department of Justice immediately launch an investigation.” So far, the allegations have not been confirmed by official authorities.
